Getting ready to go

It has been a very eventful day today. I went to see my 2 of my sisters before I jet off to Florida. I am going to miss them both.

I then went to do something that I have been putting off for a long time….I finalised my will. It is so hard to face up to the fact that my future maybe shortened and I have to prepare for my demise and make sure my children are taken care of. It isn’t so much about making the will but my children are so young. They should never have to prepare to lose their mother.

The third thing I did was to do a piece to camera about the start of our holiday and I will be taking a camera (on loan from ITV) to make a video diary. Both of the boys were on camera and Richard said his piece which was quite moving.
I am willing to do this as it will be a great piece of footage for my children to keep and will also bring some publicity to the cause.


I got emotional as I was talking abot the reality of the situation. I am sure the children will enjoy this holiday but I know they feel the same as me, that they would give it all up to have my health back.
